OXI Day & Scholarships Celebration with the Greek School of Texas

The Hellenic Cultural Center of the Southwest is honored to join the Greek School of Texas for this year’s OXI Day & Scholarships Celebration.

This historic day reminds us of the courage and sacrifice of our ancestors on October 28, 1940, when Greece said a resounding “OXI” to tyranny and defended freedom, justice, and dignity.

As part of the celebration, HCC-SW will proudly present the 2025 HCC Scholarships to two outstanding students who have excelled in Greek language, heritage, and dance programs. 

We invite the community to join us in honoring our history, celebrating our youth, and reaffirming the timeless values of courage, unity, and Hellenic heritage.
